| I beieve this hat runs a teeny bit big. If you're at the cusp of sizes, you might consider going with the smaller. Also, the hat band mine came with had a permanent crease in it (out of the box). I have returned for exchange to remedy both of these concerns. Haven't received the new one back yet. | ||||

This is perhaps the finest hat I've owned. Actually, I liked the black Bogart so much, that I also bought the gray. You will not find a better deal on a fur felt hat. A nice hat to add to any collection. Very water repellant fur felt material. Very distinguished looking fedora for the gentleman or hip young professional looking to make a statement. Perfect for night out on the town or everyday to the office. Hats off to the Bogie! You knew how to wear a hat. Only negative is that the sweatband does not wear like genuine leather. |

| This is my first hat from Village Hat Shop and I plan on being a repeat customer. This Fedora is one of my favorites and if I had any complaints at all it would be the softness of the brim but this is not that big of a deal. I wear this hat almost daily. Just get one. | ||||

| the bogart fedora was my favorite christmas gift this year. I love it and get many compliments. The grey color seems more brown than grey but the longer I have it the more I like it. This hat was a gift, but I will be ordering more hats from village hat shop. | ||||

The hat is fine, thanks. However, as a bald guy, the plastic that protects the inside satin sticks to my noggin and I partially pull the liner out almost every time I take it off. I'd prefer the satin gets stained over time, I guess. If I can figure how to get the plastic out without butchering the liner, I probably will. |

| Great quality for the price, and really nice shape and feel. Problem: I ordered my size after carefully following the head measurement directions SEVERAL times. When the hat arrived, it was labeled with the size I requested but was at least 1 size too tight...I mean, headache-inducing tight. Luckily it has stretched well and looks great...but there for a while, ouch. I believe the hat had to have been mislabeled at the factory but these things happen. Otherwise would have given five stars. | ||||

I've worn a 7-3/8 hat for as long as I've worn hats, but as it'd been a while since I've bought new, I used the size chart and measuring instructions, just to be sure. It all showed that I needed between a 7-3/8 and a 7-1/2, so I ordered my usual size. I've just received the exchange, to a 7-1/4, and it's STILL a little loose! Not so much that it's unwearable, and I'm sure the next size down would be a little too snug, but if you're in doubt about the size (or even if you're not), order smaller. Beyond that, it's a great hat - nice feel and finish, good quality overall. Wish they had it in brown, too! |

I've worn a 7-3/8 since I've worn hats, but it's been a while since I've bought something new so I used the measuring instructions and the size chart, which showed that I needed between a 7-3/8 and a 7-1/2. ordered the 7-3/8 and have just received the 7-1/4 I had to exchange it for, and even THAT'S a little roomy. Not so much that I'm going to exchange it again; I imagine the next size down would be a little snug. But if you're in doubt (or even if you're not), order a size smaller. Other than that, it's a great hat - nice materials, workmanship, styling, etc. |

I'm a 'tweener... not quite 7 1/2 and little a over 7 3/8. Wasn't certain what to do cause depending on different brands, every hat I try on is a little different when it comes to sizing. Spoke with Courtney on the phone and she recommended getting a 7 1/2 along with "sizers". She was right. Hat fits prefect. Love the classic C-Crown. My black Bogey is great. Now come on Jaxon, let's see the same style in maybe navy, brown or camel. Man can't live with just one hat alone! |
