| I wear this hat every day but before I went out in public I had to change the hat band. I'm 60 years old and if I felt old fashion wearing the hat out of the box what to say of younger folks. It's just too costume looking with the fat ribbon old fashion styled hat band. I replaced it with a smaller slimmer dark woven cord stile hat band and the hat took on a whole new appearance! The new look is simply outstanding and is much more contemporary and up to date looking! A nice light weight hat that stays put even in a strong wind, due to the short brim, and with good lining and a leather sweatband. It's too bad that it comes with a cheap old fashioned slapstick looking fat ribbon styled hat band. What were the designers thinking about anyway? Don't they know this isn't the 1920's? Want to up sales? I suggest you give customers the option to choose a hat band that is more up to date and contemporary looking. Best and warmest of regards, Frank. | ||||

| I couldn't decide between the Rude Boy or the Frank and after a little comparison, I noticed that they are the same Item Number. It appeared the only difference was the Frank had a feather. I decided to go for the more "dressed up" look and get the Frank. After I ordered it, I thought that the feather might be too much and if indeed it was, I could probably just take it out. Well, the hat arrived today and there's no feather. Either way, it's an awesome hat! | ||||

| Searched around for a short brimmed fedora and found the "Jaxon Rude Boy" here at Village Hat Shop. I'm quite happy with the hat and have received many compliments from people of all ages. Its a real head turner. | ||||

| Looks well smart! Wear it all the time. I get lots of second looks. Brings back memories of when I was in England and skanking to the specials, selector, english beat, bad manners etc. Glad I purchased the hat. | ||||
