| I've gotten good comments about it, it is a little large due to the fact that it doesn't come in 7-3/8 | ||||

| Great Hat (4/5) | Dec 30, 2007 | S. Ortega | Champaign IL US | |
| Great hat that has held up well this fall and winter. If I could have changed one thing, it would be a smaller brim (I LOOOOVE stingies) but the brim as it stands is a nice width. The black is so nice, I might be picking up a gray one. The felt is a bit stiff but it wears well as a day-to-day hat. I got more than I wanted in this hat. I was looking for an economical hat to try out a new style and came away with a GREAT hat that helps me broaden my otherwise all-fedora collection. | ||||

| Love my Monk! I like the fact that it's NOT a stingy brim; most porkpies seem to go that way but I like a wider brim. I got mine for around $40 and it was quite the bargain. I would have preferred an all-silk liner, but otherwise a GREAT hat. | ||||
| Excellent Pie (4/5) | Feb 18, 2008 | Chris Grill | Rensselaer NY | |
| A fine hat with nice feel and construction. The wider brim is a terrific feature, reminiscent of pork pies from the late 30's and early 40's - you'll feel like Cary Grant in "The Philadelphia Story"! Can be worn with the brim up for a more modern, casual look or down in the classic Hollywood style. Quality and styling are comparable to hats for twice the price (or more). Only quibbles: the felt is a bit stiff, and I also would have preferred an all-silk liner. But overall an excellent, very reasonably priced hat - two thumbs up. | ||||

| This is a fetching hat--very smart for those who do not like a lot in the way of crown or brim--neat and trim. | ||||

| This is one of the least expensive hats I own, but one of the best. I love the stiff brim that holds its shape. My only problem with it is that it doesn't come in brown. Can y'all rectify that? | ||||
| love it (5/5) | Aug 2, 2008 | porker | Birmingham Al US | |
| I wear this hat everyday. Fits well, wears well, and the brim is goldilocks (just the right size, not too big, not too small) It's a great buy. If you like the pork pie style hat, you can't go wrong with this one. | ||||
| I love it (5/5) | Sep 16, 2008 | William Bridges | Sabinal Te US | |
| I just started wearing hats other than baseball caps, if you had told me the difference in the way people treated you when you where a fine hat such as this, I would have started wearing them years ago. So thanks for my new outlook and lease on life. I will never put on another baseball cap | ||||

I agree with William Bridges-What a difference in how people respond or treat you when wearing a hat such as this. I just started wearing hats (ugh-on base ball caps) and the response is outstanding. I found it a bit stiff at first when putting it on, but once I got used to it (or it got used to my head), well a love affair was born. Terrific product!!! |
