| This is a very fine fedora that has a wonderful soft and subtle feel in the hands. The sizing seemed to be a pinch big to me, but posed no problem has I had some hat reducers on-hand. The hat is very lovely and garners more then a few complements and the inevitable Indiana Jones comparison that comes with any fedora style hat. | ||||

Beautiful, beautiful hat! I have to agree with the description on the site: This hat is as as close to perfection as you are likely to own in your lifetime at any price... Flawless construction, not a stitch out of place, wonderful feel, elegant lining, great fit. I can also attest to its performance in the rain I note now that the site says hatband it is made of stitched wool felt, but it looks like black leather in the photo... My band is brown leather; I put some leather water-repellant on my band (not the hat) before use. |
