This is the nicest hat I have ever owned. I had been looking for a good safari type hat for a while. After a lot of searching and chatting with the nice folks at Henschel, I finally decided on this model. I could not have been more pleased when it arrived. The craftsmanship is first rate. I have gotten numerous compliments when wearing it. Most importantly, my wife likes it too. Village Hat Shop service was excellent. It arrived when they said it would. Not an easy feat when shipping across country. |

| I have a Henshcel Breezer that I got during a recent trip to Florida and was very pleased by it as a stylish, warm weather hat. I ordered this hat, the Crushable Leather Safari (that I don't plan on crushing) from the VHS to be the winter equivalent of the Breezer. I haven't had it long but it's fit is great, and it's style exactly what I was looking for. VHS ordering and shipping was easy and very well done. The website is very well organized. What I'd love to know is if I should treat the leather with saddle soap or anything like that to help with the winter water exposure--rain, snow. A nice hat and you can't beat the price of $44. | ||||

| Love this hat. It has drawn numerous compliments, virtually every time I've worn it. The fit is comfortable and very carefree, meaning at times I don't feel like I'm even hearing a hat. I do not plan on crushing this hat, but it's nice to know I can in a pinch. Well done Henschel and Village Hat Shop service was excellent. | ||||

A well made comfortable hat which I've been wearing since it came. I couldn't be happier!A light weight and breathable leather so it's not too hot or cold. I live in southern new england where it's cold in the morning but warms up in the afteroon, At least this year, but this hat covers it all. It's so comfortable that I don't realize I'm wearing it! |

| I have had 3 of these hats and wear one everyday. I work in a brown one all year long in Iowa. It keeps rain and snow off of me. It lets me see when the sun is blazing down. It stays on in most windy days. The one I wear to work lasted me two years until a dog chewed it up. I bought a black and brown on to replace the first. That was 5 years ago. I love this hat. Black for dress and brown for work. Greatest hat ever made. Wool stocking cap will go underneath in the winter too. | ||||

| The Henschel Leather Safari hat was all I expected. I had a question about the size but a call to customer service answered that. This is the third hat I have purchased and I like every one. | ||||
