| At first I thought the hat was a little to la-di-da for my conservative taste. But I must say the hat has grown on me, and I wear it more often. Cuorderoy is great for fall/winter/early spring seasons. Price is a steal. Go for the brown. | ||||

I have the brown one for after work and when the wife and I go out. I have the black one that I wear to work as a truck driver. I put feathers in both of them and I get a lot of complements and I tell people where I got it. I just bought my second black one, because the old one is getting ready for an oil change, if you know what I mean. I wear them all winter except when the windchill is dangerous. I will buy these as log as Jaxon makes them. |

This hat reeks of cool. I have one in tan and have just ordered a black one. Its lines are not so much retro as true to period or, more to the point, timeless. The look puts me in mind what Don Draper of "Mad Men" would wear if he was hanging out in jazz cafes in the Village instead of knocking off three-martini lunches on Madison Ave. In sum, it's not a Borsalino, but for a tenth the price, there's a lot of quality, as well style, here. | Overall a good hat; if you tend to run between sizes I would go with the smaller size, I did and it fits perfectly. Very comfortable, the inner lining is soft, and the hat itself while made of stiff corduroy flexes to fit without being uncomfortable. It appears to be durable and adding decoration to the brim is not to difficult provided you don't mind sewing on your feather. | ||||
