Perfect? Well -- that's personal taste, and perfect for me would be a 2" brim (surprising what a difference 1/4" can make) and a nice greyish tan color. BUT since I can't find that hat, this one is a great substitute. It is, as one expects from Jaxon, very well constructed. I expect to get years of use from it. I should mention that the actual color is a bit darker and redder than the photo provided. For a leather hat of this quality the price just cannot be beat. An excellent buy. |

| I just received this hat yesterday and I think I will really like it. Quality is good and it looks good on me. The sizing runs a tad on the small side though. I got an extra large which is always my size, (including another Jaxon hat) and it is a little on the tight side. Being leather though, I know this hat will stretch out a little bit and then it will be perfect for me. | ||||

| My whole experience with VillageHatShop.com was great. there was a mix up with my debit card info that was resolved simply. My hat arrived exactly when I was told it would, wonderfully packaged with return label conveniently included. (NOT that it was needed). I had a hat almost identical to this one a while ago that got pitched (I suspect) because it had my fishing license attached to it. I had been looking for a replacement for a while but only found a few candidates. but they were either too heavy or way overpriced. This hat is perfect. The first thing I did was apply a nice coat of mink oil and let it dry on the heat vent. Then I beat the crap out of it and dirtied it up a little bit so it didn't look so new. It looks, fits and feels GREAT. Also I found a kickass online coupon for 20% off. I wish all my purchasing experience were as good as this one. Good on ya to everyone at VillageHatShop.com | ||||
