| This is the first time I have found an authentic beret (outside of Europe). I love the way I feel when I put this beret on. I feel like I am back in Paris. The construction and materials are first rate and I intend to have his hat for a very long time. | ||||

| Finding a beret where I live is probably impossible. I researched availability on the INet, and chose the Village Hat Shop, probably because they were free with solid information, not hype. My measurement was between two size, and I chose the wrong one. When I called, staff was human, honest, and easy to talk to, and my second order was successful. I simply returned the one that didn't fit. No problems. The look, feel, and quality of the Basque Beret is excellent, exactly what the description stated. The purchase was a good experience. | ||||

| Indeed, a lovely beret. However, I was dissapointed of the leather band which is quite stiff. Of course looking at the picture, one could not tell this was how it was made. I had merely wanted a beret of very soft material to slouch juantly on the head. This cannot be accomplished with the beret with the leather band. | ||||

| Excellent product, well made ,warm ,and good looking. Quality features like leather rim and it is lined.Sizing is tricky -looked at other reviews, measured my head and went with medium instead of large. It fits well. Maybe I got lucky. All in all I recommend it. If you're in the market for a stylish winter cap ; this fits the bill. | ||||

THEY CARRY GOOD PRODUCTS COMPARED TO THE CHEAP ALTERNATIVES IN MANY MALLS AND EVEN NAME BRAND DEPARTMENT STORES THAT CHARGE HIGH PRICES BUT ARE QUESTIONABLE IN THE UNDERSTANDING OF QUALITY EVERYWHERE. i TRAVEL A LOT AND THIS IS THE PERFECT BERET FOR MY TRAVELS. |

My first beret. Now I know what Europeans figured out long ago: Beret's WORK. Warm, great looking (mine is grey --- a very classy medium grey color). This hat exemplifies why a $50 investment is a better value than a $10 purchase. |
