| Once I got the right size hat, it worked well. Almost all of my co-workers liked my hat. No one I know wears a beret, so I stand out. I like this hat and am considering buying different colors of the same style. If anyone wants to stand out in a good way this hat is a great way to go. | ||||

| At first I thought the beret wouldn't work because it didn't flop over (like a beret) but instead stuck up in the air (like a pillbox). This is more the fault of my big head than of the design. I fixed it by cutting out the cardboard insert. Now I think it looks terrific - it's the hat I searched for for years. But if you have a big head AND want to keep the insert (e.g. to wear a badge), be aware that you'll have a pillbox. | ||||

| The beret is made from quality materials and is well constructed. I haven't quite figured out how to adjust the size since the leather hat band meets very closely at the back where the ribbon energes. Not a big problem. It is sized close to the chart. But, if not sized closely, when or if you sweat, the beret begins to slip down. I will buy another when the time comes. Ordering and shipping were very good! RAG | ||||

The plastic piece in the front really helps to keep its form. I love it and wear it with my band all the time. Not many dudes in Hawaii rock a beret. Hopefully villagehatshop.com will change that. Mahalo & A Hui Hou! |

The hat is very well made. It is not thin or cheap, it is a nice thick piece of good wool. The hat has good shape and will last for many years. The service and delivery was very goo also. This was definitely worth the price!!! |
