| I love this hat. It fits perfectly - snug enough to stay put but always comfortable. The center of the hat rests on my head which I didn't expect but it keeps it from sliding down too far. It adds a sporty touch to a casual outfit. | ||||

This hat has a quality which I have not expected for this price. Especially this hat you wear only to specific occassions (in my case an Oktoberfest). Therefore I think it might last for a lifetime! One word to the package: The packaging of the box is reallt good. The box where the hat sits in w/o beeing crushed is pretty slick -I am gonna keep this to store the hat! Delivery was smooth and quick -overall not one reason to complain. |

Great find, fit and price! We needed a tyrolean hat for my teenage son who was playing the father in a production of Hansel and Gretel. Authentic and perfect for a broom maker. He will keep it for Octoberfest! |

I lost the one I had for 25 years. It was a gift sent from a friend in Austria). I must admit that this one is not the same. The wool is not as thick. However, I called VillageHatShop before I purchased and she told me it would not be as good a quality as the one I had. My old hat was, and still is, the favicon for my website. I had blogged about hat, about a year ago: http://www.sampost.com/2009/21/my-hat As good as it was, my old hat had a broken band that nobody would fix (I tried several alteration shops). It was floppy and -- but tell the truth -- a bit irritating. So this new, American made Jaxon Tyrolean is a fine hat at a fair price. I've had it a short time and worn it a lot. It keeps my head warm and dry. Losing an old hat and getting a new one is like losing an old dog and getting a puppy. She's not the same, but we're friends. We're getting to know each other, and we're growing closer with time. |

I like the hat design and quality a lot. Unfortunately, the hat hit the top of my head while well above my ears. I had to return it for credit. I got the XL size and expected it to fit better than it did. It cost me about $17 to pay shipping both ways so this was a "lose lose" experience for me. While the hat selection is great, I shall do my hat shopping at places where I can try the hats on in the future. |
