I bought a cap around 1960 while visiting London and ever since used it as my "travel cap" because I could stick it in my pocket. Unfortunately I lost it on a trip in early December but was very happy to find this web site from which I ordered a replacement cap. When it arrived I was overjoyed to receive the nearly identical cap, very well made., the only difference being the now fashionable logo on the back side and of course, the price. It's really good to know that some things really can be replaced about 50 years later!

I purchased this hat for my husband who had his stolen by a onery wind gust at the Grand Canyon. The hat arrived on time, in perfect condition. The quality of the hat is better than the one it replaced and the price was actually less than I originally paid for the first one (at an outlet store). Thank you for such great service.

Comfort, quality,style, fit, and price. I ordered it in dark flannel to wear with a black leather coat and a gray trench coat (as well as a black vest). Classic and versatile enough for all three styles of outerwear. This is my 4th hat from VHS. One small email snafu, but it didn't affect my order or fulfillment.

I ordered this cap for my father for Christmas. It came before Christmas, and he asked to see it and then asked if he could wear it right away, instead of waiting for the Big Day. I was disappointed when the cap arrived; I expected it to be lined, like the other caps I own. The fabric seemed on the thin side, too. The surprise came the first time I wore it on a cold, breezy day. The wind seemed to bounce right off the thing. A very warm cap, despite its light weight--shows that it's very well constructed. The "amazon" color is more of a bluish-green than the photo shows, but that's OK with me. You can't miss with VHS.

Unfortunately, the Kangol 504 has gone the way of so many great icons: Now made in China, and shoddily at that. I ordered two (returned one for exchange, and then returned the exchange for a refund). Fabric and shaping are third-rate at best. The little kangaroo symbol on both sits a bit akimbo, speaking volumes about its mass-production and lack of attention to detail, or even basic quality control. I take a 7 3/8, so I first ordered a large (too big) then a medium (too small). If you want a true Kangol, check the internet (ebay, etc.) for a vintage Made in UK version. Hard to find (I found one for $125, but passed on it!). Sad to see so many once-great items consigned to the trash-heap of China.
