| This is my first Ivy cap. One of the guys a work had one and I tried it on. I thought it looked ok and decided to try one. I found Village hat shop on a google search and when I saw the prices I figured I had nothing to lose. I ordered 2 caps and was in it less than 30 bucks. These caps are good quality and a great deal at the Village's prices. Sizing chart was right on and they are comfortable even on a hot day. I wear this particular cap whenever I go out (it's my favorite) and people comment on how good it looks. I just ordered another one today. These are great and they cost less than your average ball cap. I am sold and I will have a whole stable of these hats eventually | ||||

This is a quality lined, light wool hat with good style and fit. The sides are a little puffy or "newsboy-ish" for my personal taste since I normally go for more of the "duckbill" or "pub cap" sleek sides. But you can't beat it for the price they're asking. Four stars for quality and value. If you like your caps with a little more on the sides of the head then you can't go wrong here. |

The hat is good quality, especially for the price. But, I wear a size 7-1/2 hat. Period. Have been that size for over 40 years. Using the size chart, that makes me an X-Large. I have bought a few other X-Large hats over the past few years, but Jaxon X-Large are too big for me and Large size is a borderline fit. I recently purchased 8 Ivy hats from 3 different makers and sizing was all over the place. Here's the breakdown: Goorin Bros. X-Large = tight, but wearable. Kangol X-Large = way too big; exchanged for a Large, which is just right. Jaxon X-Large = HUGE, exchanged for refund. Based on this experienced, when I placed an order for 5 other Jaxon Ivy hats (mainly because they were such a good price), I ordered them in size Large. The results? 1 is perfect, 3 are snug but not too snug. This Grey Pinstripe is the tightest, but I'm not going to return for an exchange. The earlier UPS return cost was 1/2 the hat's value. It will be somebody's gift. Hope your size isn't as difficult to fit because these hats are a great value. |
