I bought this hat for my husband for the holiday. He loves it. He has a warm, woolen newsboy cap that he wears constantly and this hat is the 2nd in a future collection. It is a LIGHT hat, and best used for spring/summer wear and he enjoys the option of snapping the cap down, or leaving it up. He wore it down in Florida this past January and many of the locals complimented him on his snappy attire. Will be ordering from Village Hat Shop from now on for the both of us! I had a newsboy cap when I was in the 9th grade and wore it all the way through high school. I was known by that cap. I ended up giving it to my girlfriend when I enlisted in the Service. There is something about these caps... everyone that sees me wear mine asks where they can get one also. It is the coolest winter headgear out there. Pardon the pun. I think we need a socioity of Newsboy Cap fans. |

| Overall I like the hat. fabric pattern is nice. The fabric is much thinner than I expected. The plus is that its light. The minus is that I don't know how long it'll last. Also because the fabric is so light it tends not to hold its shape. Takes awhile to break into your liking. Despite the minuses I've listed I still recommend it. hats are back in style but I have yet to see someone wearing this pattern. You WILL get noticed. | ||||
