| Brit Bobby (5/5) | Nov 16, 2007 | Dennis Hughes | Oak Lawn Il US | |
|
This headgear was selected specifically as a costume prop in a Halloween "Jack the Ripper" skit. The skit was a huge hit thanks in part to authentic costume pieces, like VillageHatShop's Brit Bobby helmet. The price is considered a value and delivery was timely. |

| Warning (5/5) | Feb 22, 2009 | R. Harvey | Atlanta Ge US | |
| If ever in England, do not wear this on the street, it is an arrestable offense for impersonating a Police officer. I have a real one from the miners strike in the 80s and this one looks good so if you want something authentic looking get this. But remember, the badge says E II R so if (like the above) you wish to do a Jack the Ripper Party, you'll need a VR (seeing as victoria was Queen at the time) Otherwise good. | ||||
| Good Costume Hat (4/5) | May 7, 2009 | Anonymous | Seattle US | |
| I bought this hat for use in a professional stage play. It is made of what seems like flexible plastic, flocked for a velvety finish on the outside. It looks good and is very lightweight, with a comfortable, hook-and-loop adjustable band inside. As a bonus, the light weight makes it less appealing for actors to throw it around as they so often do with hats. No complaints! | ||||
