| Fits great and well constructed, except for the threads that keep the tassel gathered around the plastic drum. This came unravelled the first day, and I had to repair it. Otherwise , not bad for a costume hat (as Groucho Marx in "Night in Casablanca" ) | ||||

| I love my fez. Chicks dig it. It's very retro orientalist hipster dufus chic... when I'm smoking in the palour holding court with my hangers on and general breed of rapscailian that my parlour seems to draw in I'll oft don my fez - as my dear grandmama told me as they dragged her off to the asylum, " you maggot! not only stealing thoughts now but you're afraid to eat your own face!!! but you sure can wear the heck out of a fez" Perhaps you can too? This is a good deal, doesn't look cheap, my cat's had a hellavu lotta fun going after that tassel and although I have a few more scratches and scars the fez abides after 4 years, fell behind the couch for a year of that but beat the dust out of it and a wet cloth dabbing at it took care of the other nastiness... don't throw it in the wash. I agonized about the sizing while ordering. My wife and I measured my head 4 times. When I received my fez, I felt that it was too small. I have had it for about a week and it is begining to fit much better. I was annoyed with the overall length of the tassel. I cut it to a lenght that comes to just the bottom of the fez. I am really happy with it now. |

| I am a children's book writer. A fez was a needed addition to my readings. After a fruitless search--in Austin no less, where you would think a decent fez would be found--I came to Village Hat Shop and bought this one. It is the real deal. Great construction.
