This hat is exactly what I wanted. Good quailty workmanship at a reasonable price. As I read some earlier reviews about how the hat was made in a circle instead of an oval it occured to me to buy some hat "sizers" at the same time. After installing them on the sides of the hat, the hat fit perfectly. I will frequent the Village Hat Shop again. |

| Mine came today and i am thrilled. Having an oddly shaped head I will need to make minor adjustments . But, that is to be expected. I will be ordering more hats from Village. For the price the quality cannot be beaten. | ||||

| I bought this hat to wear during Christmas - that time of the year just seems like it's made for wearing top hats - must be because of Dickens! This hat is solid and well-made. I took the feather off, but saved it in case I ever need one for another hat because the feather was so beautful. You wear this hat out in town and everyone will be admiring you. It was a wonderful style back in the late 1800's and it's still a wonderful style today. | ||||

| Ever since I saw Johnny Depp in the 1995 western-style movie "DEAD MAN" when I was 10 years old, I thought it was a Great Movie. When I was 15 year's old I saw the Movie again and this time I was able to understand it more and it just amazed me! This movie is also my cousin's favorite movie and has even spent a few Halloween's dressed as Johnny Depp's William Blake. His Costume was Perfect! Only one thing was not perfect was his hat. Johnny Depp's hat in "DEAD MAN" is one of my all-time Favorite Hat's, I spent 2 week's looking for it online and when I found it on VillageHatShop.com I Immediately hit the "Add to Cart" Button. Then On June 27th, 2011 My Jaxon DEADMAN Top Hat Came in the Mail. It Looked Beautiful! Ever since I got I, I put it on and feeling like William Blake Himself. My Cousin is also happy that I got it and still hope's to wear it on his head too. My advice for those who want to purchase this hat I give you this: This is one of the Best Hat's You will EVER Wear! It's style is amazing and look's good on anyone. But know this: after I did some research on this hat I found out It was designed my Johnny Depp Himself, and I believe he designed it for those who have long hair. A good length of 4 or 9 inches will give you Johnny Depp's Style like in the movie when you wear the hat. I do hope this review help's make your decision on buying this hat because IT IS AMAZING! It was Even Designed by Johnny Depp, who wouldn't want a Hat that was Designed by Johnny Depp Himself??!! So I leave you with this,You will not be disappointed by this hat and I sue you will be pleased as I am with mine. Keep Calm and Carry On:) | ||||

| I love the hat- it's a perfect top hat. Sadly, it's round, while heads are oval. If I store it on a hat stretcher, I can comfortably wear it, but it goes back to circular if I don't come home and put it right back on the stretcher. Not terribly convenient. Can't say I'm impressed. | ||||

| I would like to give this hat a 5-star rating for its appearance, but I'm subtracting 2 stars for its grossly inaccurate sizing and its awkward fit, which to me is a sign of shoddy negligence on the part of the designer & manufacturer. Normally I wear a size between 7 3/4 and 7 7/8, which translates to XXL in ready-made hats, so that is what I ordered. But to my consternation, it turned out to be over-sized, anywhere between 8 1/8 to 8 1/2-- it should be marked XXXL or XXXXL. So, I exchanged it for size XL. While I was impressed by The Village Hat Shop's prompt handling of my return, the smaller size is still a poor fit, still a bit too large. It slides back and forth if I shake my head, but I plan to keep it because I'm tired of paying return postage and because of the hat's good looks. This experience for me casts doubts on any future purchase of a Jaxon hat, as it seems they can't be trusted. | ||||

| This hat will make a big comeback. great workmanship and quality. I wear it evety day and get plenty of positive feedback. It will make a comeback if i have to do it myself. Great hat and a great price!!! | ||||
