| I've just ordered my second Scala Antique Ball Cap. This hat matches me perfectly (the antique part anyway). And, it's my second Cap because I left the first one laying around in a restaurant one time and it grew legs and walked off. So be carefull where you leave this guy. The pictures are very representative of what you will get, and that's a comfortable, durable good looking cap. | ||||

After some extensive searching for a replacement of my favorite hat (A suede -like roughed out leather ball cap similar to the Scala ball cap.) which had lasted for years of daily use, I came upon this hat. It's quality is good and I am very satisfied with the hat. I expect it will last as long as the old one did. I didn't want the pre-curved bill like so many of the ball caps have today, but I am now used to it and it is fine. It is fairly low profile which is what I wanted. All in all, soundly constructed. the perfect hat for me, which I have not yet found, would have an even slightly lower profile. I have always wondered why leather hats never have leather hatbands but quality felt hats do. The hatband is always the first thing to wear out in hat like this and a leather hat band would make it even more durable. Anyway I do recommend this hat. |
