Great hat. A bit darker khaki than shown in the pic. Very strong material. The top of the crown is up on mine, not down with a nice indention like in the pic. However, it looks good the way it is and the material could easily be shaped to look like the pic. I used the sizing chart which said i needed a medium. It fits perfectly. Very comfortable. Although, i wear my hats all the way down on my head (probably why the crown pops up) to keep my hair held back well (long hair). It seems like a lot of hats aren't designed to be worn that way, but anyway. The brim can easily be shaped and is great at keeping the sun out of my eyes. My only complaint is that the brim is just a little too big. I'm a very tiny little man and unless i were a coat, it looks a little weird on me, in my opinion. All in all, a great hat. |

Recently, I gave my uncle a Dorfman "Aussie with Chincord" and he loves it. His hat size is "extra large" which can be difficult to find, but this hat fits nicely and is very servicable. The quality is excellent and the price unbeatable. My only complaint is the lack of color choices. He would have preferred this style hat in black or charcoal. Although I found a similar style in black leather, this would have been too heavy for his needs- so I'm hoping in future a wider range of colors will be available. |

| I bought this hat to wear in the winter account my mesh Aussie is too well ventilated for cool weather. This hat fits well, holds its shape, looks good and is very comfortable to wear and it keeps my head warm in cold weather. I reccomend it to anyone that would like protection from the sun, wind or wet weather. I am very pleased with both the hat and the prompt service. | ||||

| While I have owned one of these hats for at least 5 years and loved it, the one i recently ordered from VHS didn't fit, even tho i ordered the same size as the previous hat (same model) i had owned. As well, it appears the material the hat is made with has changed...it is a much stiffer, formed canvas, as opposed to the more 'floppy' style I was expecting. All that said, I am awaiting my re-shipment of the hat in a 'medium' size with hopes it will fit and give me as much enjoyment and use as my previous one. I was a little dissappointed that the Village Hat Shop makes you pay for return shipping of a product for exchange that doesn't fit...yes they do pay for the return shipping to you, but I'm still out double shipping (which is more than 1/2 the cost of the hat), and still not assured the new product will fit either...I guess ordering hats sized "S", "M", "L" is a gamble at best! | ||||

| Wow, on time and in perfect condition. I purchased the same hat some time ago, around 6 years. The hat I purchased, I still use when I work outdoors. It is a perfect hat, easily molded and tough. On hot Riverside days its perfect Thanks again. John | ||||

| The sun is intense in Arizona and the Pacific Aussie is just right. Not to light, not to heavy and breaths well. Good sun coverage and holding up well. Definitely recommended. | ||||

I have bought this had before, the first almost 6 years ago. Then the second form a local Orchard Supply store 3 years ago. I never go out without it. Over the last 30 years I have worn a hat almost continuously. This particular one is the best I have had. I have just purchased the third one to hold in reserve as I am afraid that the next time I want one of these, they will be out of production (as the things you like always are...same problem with hiking boots!) I was glad to find the hat here at VillageHatShop.com. |
