| I was a little hesitant in ordering this hat. I didn't want anything that would look too masculine. Another thing I was unsure about, was the color. I "clicked" on fossil, and the color never came up. I took a gamble and ordered it in fossil. I'm so pleased with the color (like a dark moss.) Very pretty. I love the way the hat looks and feels! Very light, yet there is a little stiffness to the rim which gives it a stylish flare. I couldn't be happier with my purchase and look forward to wearing it during the hot summer. Great price too. | ||||

Extremely light weight and a good size brim keeps you cool and provides alot of shade from the sun. Be sure to use the chin strap on a windy day or it WILL blow off your head! It's that feather-light! The dimensions listed are exactly accurate. The mesh top allows breeze to flow through easily. The color I got is Fossil, which is a bit darker than shown in the picture. In the picture, it looks almost bone colored or off-white. But Fossil is almost like a dark moss or dark khaki color. I rate this hat with 4 stars not because it is a bad color, but because the color was not exactly as shown. Inside the hat, there is a band of black felt right where it sits on the head and it makes it comfortable on the forehead. It packs very well: just lay it on top of clothes in the suitcase and zip it closed. The top of the hat does get crushed when packing. But after being unpacked, the entire hat pops right back into shape! The hat looks a bit more like a man's hat, but can be worn by a woman. Overall, I'm very pleased with this hat. |
