I just ordered my husband a second hat in this style. The first hat (five years old) he uses for working (building/construction) and the newer hat for "stepping out". He loves the large brim that repells water from his shoulders and off his neck but also keeps rain, or what we prefer, snow, off his face and glasses even in the highest of winds. It is extremely durable. The "working hat" shows minimum wear or even stains after years of use. He will never change this style of hat for the fall and winter months. |

| Had this hat bookmarked for ever it seems. My wife needed an idea for xmas and I said here you go. A great fit. An eye catcher. So far, I've worn it in the rain and wet snow and it's kept me warm and dry. Don't wait like I did! | ||||

| I have found this hat to be a great all around hat that i can wear just for walking the dogs on a sunny/rainy day or it makes for a awesome hat when i go kayaking. The back is long enough to keep rain from running down your back and when its sunny makes for a good sun shade hat. I always get asked by new people i meet, where did you get that cool looking hat. | ||||

| I was looking at this hat for over a year before I finally broke down and ordered it. I was worried about how it would hold up over time and how it would perform. When I received my hat, I was very pleased with the overall quality and sizing. I had misgivings about the brim size until I took it on my springtime fishing trip in extreme northern Minnesota. The weather couldn't have been more miserable, rainy and temps hovering around freezing. The larger brim allowed the rain to drip down the back of my rain jacket and not down my neck as I had expected. I am quite a few hairs short on top and I usually get cold rather quickly. I was amazed that the hat kept my head warm AND dry. That level of comfort in that weather made me realize that I was a fool to wait so long to make my purchase of this hat. | ||||

| This is the best hat I have found! I live in a very rainy climate and kayak all year long. Its a great fit, lightweight and sheds water wonderfully! | ||||

| I've worn this hat for years as a river guide from the Grand Canyon to Alaska. It's endured everything from searing heat to piles of snow. I've loved it in every climate. It packs well too. I can shove it in the nooks and crannies of my dry bag, and it always comes out fine. It's an old friend. I hope that this company is still around if I ever have to replace it! | ||||

| I had an older version of this hat for the past 10 years or so. I loved it, but the top finally wore out over time. The new one is also great. The hat is very comfortable, but most important the rim is very thick and so hold up to heavy wind and rain. With the waterproof sealant, it keeps me dry when I wear my waterproof jacket. | ||||
