The hat itself does not have a clean fit and finish. It's "good enough" if you dont look closely. However, the crown is slightly misshapen, slightly uneven, the bill doesn't sit quite straight, and so on. Worse, however, is the atrocious shipping. Do not buy online unless you're interested in a hobo starter hat. After 3 atempts at trying to recieve a hat in good condition i've given up, and it's not worth the return shipping. I dont knownwho taught these folks to pack a box but im guessing they skipped the class anyway. Here's a pic pf the packing job in the 3rd box. Box was fine this time (went thru fedex for the 3rd trip as the 2nd box was destroyed. Weird too with 1 whole piece of tape wrapped most of the way around the box) but inside the hat was out of its bag, crushed, and the shipping lable was crumpled up with the bag.
Needless to say i will not be ordering anything from this vendor ever again.

Was this delivered in a VillageHatShop.com box? The shippers wrap the hat in the plastic bag with the foam ring and put the receipt/paperwork on the top before sealing so I am surprised it was delivered to you in this condition. This is not how we ship our items so I apologize that you received your item this way.
