In the world in hats, beaver fur felt is considered the crème de la crème of all fur felt. Softer and more water-resistant than rabbit, beaver fur for hatters was the felt of choice for decades. It was replaced by rabbit over pricing concerns, and eventually, the ubiquitous wool felt hat you see nearly everywhere today. 

However, the hatters at Signes are traditionalists and their desire for perfection knows no bounds. Thus this year, they have introduced an astonishingly beautiful hat – the 100% Beaver Fur Felt Fedora. This stunning hat has a wide snap brim and high crown.

The hat is fully lined in black satin and has a genuine leather sweatband. The hat is finished with the classic  grosgrain hat bow. 

As far as we are concerned, you would be hard pressed to find a finer fedora anywhere else in the world at any price. The hat is as close to perfection as you’re likely to own in your lifetime.
