This hat provides 360 degrees of complete sun protection. As the sun rises above the horizon, you'll be glad to be wearing this hat. Water-resistant Supplex Nylon fabric is accented with a decorative nylon web band. The weight is under 3 oz., so its lightweight for travel. The 180 degrees flexible solid core foam brim assures water flotation as well as protection from UVA or UVB rays. Inner sweatband keeps forehead dry. Neck flap or veil (8" long) can be raised via Velcro and the hat can be rolled and packed easily in suitcases or gear bags. The dark underbrim absorbs any reflected light. Side mesh panels provide air circulation and moisture release. Elastic tensioner and adjustable strap in back allows for a custom fit. The adjustable chin cord can be used to keep the hat from flying away when on an adventure. Worn by river guides, eco-travelers, kayakers, fishermen, endurance athletes, and even those adventuring in the backyard.
Available sizes: Medium (20 1/2"-22 1/2") and Large (21 1/2"-23 ./4").
