The Tilley TM11 Mesh Hat is lightweight, cool and comfortable because the crown is made of strong ‘3-D’ polyester mesh which blocks sunlight, but allows air to pass easily. It can also been treated to provide water repellency. And it weighs only about 4 ounces! The 100% cotton duck brims block sunlight. This hat has been tested and certified as having a UPF 50+, the maximum UV protection rating given. The TM11 Mesh Hat is styled with the medium, semi-sloping brim size of the Tilley LT5 model.
