Paul Revere is famous for his part in the Revolutionary War. As Longfellow's poem states, Revere was most recognized for his Midnight Ride. Paul Revere rode through the streets warning, "The British are coming!" to all who would listen. While on his legendary ride, Revere wore a Tri Corn much like the one here.
