The Seabird is the perfect hat to wear if you're on or in the water! The brim is made from foam, so the hat will float if there's a 'Man over-board!'. The SPEC UPF 50+ certified nylon fabric is lightweight, washable, and completely travel friendly. The dark underbrim will help to reduce glare and absorb harmful reflected UV rays. The Cool Max sweatband helps to wick perspiration away. This hat will protect the face, ears, and neck from the sun. The 4" high round crown has been trimmed with a leather band and three 1/4" diameter grommets on each side. The chin cord can be used to keep the hat on during windy weather. The dimensional brim is 3 1/2" wide in the front, 2 3/4" wide on each side and 4" wide in the back. The brim is specially engineered to be stable in over 30 knots of wind.
