This pith helmet style is reminiscent of a classic fireman's helmet. The helmet was named after M/Gen. Sir Garnet Wolseley, who developed the original pattern. We have seen many variations on the name...Wolsey, Wolesley, etc., but the correct spelling is Wolseley. Through the years there have been many minor variations to this style.
Our model has a crown at 7 inches high the front and back brim measured at 3 inches and both sides measured at 2 inches.
Sweatband and chin strap are genuine leather.
Green underbrim.
Color: White(as per the original) and Khaki.
Size: Small/Medium and Large/X-Large, adjustable by means of Velcro at the end of the sweatband.
