I have jack hammered, wrenched, hiked, swam, and much more in this hat, all while in the harsh desert. I found it laying in the middle of the highway and it's lasted me years. It's high quality. Soft, flexible, and immensely shady! This hat keeps you wrapped in shade even in the harshest of deserts. I looked for a replacement and none compare. Its unisex imo. Ive gotten countless compliments on my hat. After 9 years of living in this hat, I came here to buy a second in a different color! It's the. best. hat.

I love everything about this hat, but, when it arrived, the plastic covering the feather had pulled away from the hat taking the feather out with it. There has to be a way, a better way, to keep this from happening to others.

I have gone through three Stratoliner (formerly LLBean’s Moose River) hats in Silverbelly (color) and just got one in grey (or Caribou). The little airplane pin on the hat band fell off, but, luckily, I found it and attached it more securely. It is a beautiful, beautifully crafted hat. Highly satisfied.

Light weight, easy to care for, casual, suave... I really like this hat. It is comfortable for all-day wear. I can easily drive while wearing it as the brim is small, so it doesn't mash against the seat.
