These hats are made from the cork, or pith, of trees from northern Vietnam using techniques developed 100 years ago by the French during their occupation. By popular demand, we have introduced this Indian style pith helmet in a size range for people with bigger heads. Like our regular helmets, the size is adjustable by way of a hook and loop ending to the cotton sweatband. The helmet is functional in both sunny and rainy weather.
