I have a size 8 head, not easy to find hats. The Stetson Temple in size 8 fits perfectly. I bought it in black and think it's a stylish hat. Good construction. I'm pleased with the purchase.

This fedora was exactly the style I wanted. The quality of the felt/fur is really nice. My only complaint is that Stetson used white thread to sew in the hat band and it often shows outside the ribbon. It is quite obvious next to the black ribbon and brown hat.

This is my first proper hat, and so far I'm quite impressed. The fur felt feels excellent - it's soft yet sturdy, and I'm sure it will last a long time with proper care. Its construction is far superior to my less expensive hats. It arrived well-packaged and in a timely fashion, and Village Hat Shop's service and attention to detail was spot-on. Both Stetson and VHS have earned a longtime customer.

People don't know day from night today. Fedoras must have a snap brim and a teardrop dent. This hat does not have a snap brim nor a teardrop dent. It has a trilby's crease. And boy is it a sweet Trilby! I'm giving it every star you got.

We ordered a Fedora, which was too big! I sent it back, reordered and the service and quality was fantastic! The hat was for my husband for Christmas ! He had always wanted a grey fedora! I would really recommend them. Everything about this company was Top notch!

Such a great hat, I love how it feels and it looks great. This is my first snap brim hat, I like the flexibility of style by changing the brim, brim up is a fun look, front brim down looks business. You can place it square on your head and then tilt the hat to one side for another look.

The hat was just what I wanted. I had a black one years ago, but it was caught in a torrential rain. The fit and look were prefect. Several commendations. I'll be back for the Black.

The search is over. I have been hunting for a prized fedora for a couple of years now and the Stetson Temple is where it is at. There are many subtleties in the craftsmanship which I appreciate.

I prefer the pinch crown over the teardrop (Stetson Chatham, which you may want to consider).

Jaxson also has a great crushable pinch crown for travel (and kids) for a third of the price. Happy hunting!

I had received The Temple and can tell you one thing, It's the best. Fast delivery and a great product from Stetson.

This is a great quality men's fedora. The style has returned and can be worn as a flip brim 'hipster' style as well as the classic Fedora style with the front brim flipped downward. Stetson quality is great and I have been extremely impressed with the service at the Village Hat Shop. I had to return my first order for size (it was too big, and that NEVER happens to me) the turn around was fast and perfect fit on the second order. Great Job!

I started wearing hats to shade my face and neck from the sun. Now I wear hats all the time. My favorites are the Stetson Temple and the Stetson Saxon Royal. Both are classics that will never go out of style. Strangers walk up to me on the street and tell me how much they like my hats. This is a well-made hat at a reasonable price.

I've been looking for a good fedora in my size (8!) for a while now (full disclosure: for a Doctor Who "4th Doctor" costume), and was delighted to finally find this one. Very well made and it fits perfectly. I could not be happier with my purchase.

Stetson lives up to it's reputation with this hat. I own several less expensive wool felt fedoras and enjoy wearing them (especially crushables when traveling) and I save this one for special occasions. Sized perfectly, and the felt and lining are flawless. If you only one one fedora, invest in a Stetson.

My favorite Stetson hat that I own is the Stratoliner. I accept that there are differences from hat to hat, but I didn't expect them to be so vast within the Stetson brand. The Temple felt is much stiffer and feels to me to be of poorer quality. The crown of the hat is rounder than I saw in the pictures, and hat band fails to cover the stitching where the brim meets the shaft of the crown. I'm really ambivalent about this hat. If I could I would give this a 2.5 star rating.

I bought my 7th order from HVS and as usual service was great and fast to handle the order , I ordered " Temple Fur Felt Fedora Hat", the hat received in a very good condition , great material , clean , color amazing as I was hoping and expecting , I always will buy from HVS for their great services and the fantastic hats they have beside the quality of their hats .

One thing to tell the Canadian customers like me , the next day of my order HVS sent the hat to USPS which sent in no time to Canada post to handle the delivery as an agreement between the 2 posts , and here is the catastrophe , Canada post is a lousy firm , bad , very slow and do not know how to work , I received only today the hat after 24 days !! yes 24 days , even I kept tracing the order on site day by day and calling Canada post but unfortunately they do not know how to handle such situation , as a result if any delay take place in orders for Canadian clients , my dear friends do not blame HVS nor USPS and blame our Canada post and only Canada post I wish they take lessons from USPS how to work.

I got this as a surprise gift for.my husband. He wears a size 8 which is difficult if not impossible to find. Not only did I find it here at VillageHat.com but I also got a good price. My husband loves the hat! It is a perfect fit and the style is exactly what he wanted. We were in a hat store years ago in Montana and while they had hats that fit they were all cowboy style hats. He definitely is not a cowboy and the fedora is what suited him. This hat should last him for years.

On a scale of 1-10 this hat is 1000! I was unsure about purchasing a hat online, but after talking with VHS on Facebook and calling them, I was ready! This hat is soft and luxurious. I have got non-stop compliments since putting the lid on. I got mine in Caribou. It's a little darker in person than on my computer screen. I love the shade. VHS says it comes with a woven Stetson, but mine has a hat pin. I ordered the hat for my brother's wedding, so I'm going to wear it minimally until after the wedding. Get yourself a Stetson Temple or 2 or 3! You won't be disappointed!

I love this hat. It's height and brim lengths are finally the right proportions for my head. It's stiff enough, but not too stiff, it's the highest quality and it just looks great!
