Downs Fur Felt Fedora Hat

I've tried Stetson Fedoras's before and they were to round for my oval head and/or the crown was too shallow to avoid pressing on the top of my head. This one is a perfect fit for me! Of the three good quality hats I have this is the most comfortable.

It’s a Stetson; what more do you really need to know? Fits just right, has the look I wanted, and I get complimented on it everywhere I go (and I’m in my 40’s, not an old guy!) Comes in a great hat box perfect for storage. Will be purchasing additional Stetson’s in the future.

Fit was very good, hat holds its shape very well. Everyone complements how nice it looks! Well worth the money. Will buy one in gray too. Black hat came with Stetson hat pin. Feathers remove easily if you don't want them in the band.

This fedora is a huge upgrade from other fedoras I've purchased. The fur felt is thick and heavy, beautiful satin lining and leather head band. The finish on the hat is perfect. The snap brim is rigid and holds its shape extremely well.

This hat fits a little small. My hat size is 71/8 and this hat fits more snugly than my other hats. However, this is my first Stetson hat. Perhaps this is common with Stetson hats. I don't know.

I think this hat is a good value and I would buy another Stetson hat in the future.

Once I found the hat I liked best on the very easy to use search engine at Village Hat Shop, I then used that result to search the entire internet for a better price, much to my surprise the Village Hat Shop price was not just a little better than everywhere else, it was better than even the discount prices for the same hat at the big online vendors. I received my hat on time from this sight. I saw a lot of complaints about wrong hat sizes or something about a chart, but I knew my actual hat size (most men are 7 3/8) and you know what? It fits like a glove. I have received innumerable compliments on this hat. The materials and workmanship are VISIBLY SUPERIOR to any of those poorly made department store fedoras you can buy, and the elongated brim moves this far away from that played out hipster cliché we see so often. This hat is Sinatra-esque.

The two hats I bought previously for my father and myself were Fur Felt Fedora Stetson Temple size 60 cm. They are too large. The second two hats I bought recently - in the last couple of weeks Downs Fur Felt Fedora hats are absolutely beautiful but, size 58 cm is small. Now, when I buy the next two hats - it will be size 59 cm. Now, I know the right size for my father and myself. Absolutely beautiful hats!
