These Guatemalan palm leaf hats are great. I have been wearing them for years. They are easy to reshape and the fiber doesn’t break down like straw hats do. I replaced my last hat simply because it had absorbed so much sweat it was grungy.

This is a great hat and well made. I was able to shape it a bit to fit my head better by just getting the area around the sweat band damp. It's so comfortable now and I suspect the hat will last for quite awhile. I also like the simple, classic style of the hat. I wear an XXL, and it can be hard to find a comfortable fit, but this one rocks it.

My hat arrived in good condition and in the time promised. This hat seems to be well made of quality material. It seems a bit large but I have added a cloth to the inside of the liner an I think this has solved the problem.

I wore out my best summer straw fedora; it was time for a new one. I really like Sunbody hats, and this one certainly is a keeper! It's sturdy, beautiful, and exactly what I was hoping it would be, perfect with a silk summer suit or for more casual wear. I was very careful about sizing. This one is just a tad snug, but that's all right in our Texas summer winds. For the price, this is absolutely your best bet!

this is my second straw hat, and the quality of this hat is so much better than purchasing a straw hat in a golf shop for comparable price. Very tight weave and well constructed. Will not have to worry about the sun getting through. have not been outdoors yet to evaluate coolness. Should keep my head and ears free of sun. Needed to put hat sizer inside (could have been faulty measuring on my part).

I live and work in the great outdoors of California's san Joaquin Valley. It was 107 the other day and that's fairly hot. My hat keep me shaded and cooler, without a doubt. The hat is a heavier weave and when I 1st received it I was worried. I have no doubts today. The hat is sturdy and well made and I LIKE IT!

A very good Palm Leaf hat, indeed. It does all that Sunbody says it will do (get it wet, shape it, dry it, sit on it and it still remembers its shape). There are many other 'straw' hats out there that are far more expensive (and admittedly some a lot cheaper), but all come nowhere near the versatility of this one. I've worn it and sweated in it in the jungle, had ice forming on it on Kilimanjaro and been asked by Lock's of London where I got it from. A great buy. A word of advice, though: it doesn't shrink, so get exactly your size. The Village Hat service was also outstanding: I had this sent to Borneo and it arrived safely and on time.
