Tweed Toyo Straw Floppy Sun Hat

Quality of hat excellent. Love the look and it’s packable. It is a little big for my head though and that’s unusual for me. Should be able to make an adjustment using inside band.

I love my hat. I bought it to replace the one I purchased about 10 years ago and lost during the past year. The new one is a little darker than the previous one, but absolutly great. I've started replacing all the pins I had on my previous hat but will take a while to get them replaced. Thanks for the service.

I bought this hat for my trip to Hawaii. I was looking for something packable and wanted a hat that would protect my face from the sun. It was great.

i bought this hat because i didn't want to drop $250 on an eric javits hat, and would feel horrible if i lost such an expensive hat. so i googled and googled until i found this hat, which looks the closest to the 'squishee' hat both in style and 'squashable' construction.the hat came in a huge hat box which surprised me, since the hat is advertised to be crushable and should bounce back to shape, right? this was a hint of what was to come.i rolled it up and took it with me on my trip, and several times throughout my vacation, pulled it out to put on, and rolled it back up to stow into my beach bag as necessary. i like that the hat is adjustable with the tie, but found that the structure of the hat softened with each use, to where the hat is just floppy now, and doesnt shade my face without hanging in front of my eyes, which gets annoying quick. no matter how many adjustments or rotations of the hat, it hangs in a way that obstructs my view. perhaps the humidity of the mexican carribean made the hat's sturdyness wilt (?) but you get what you pay $25 for. it did the job for this one vacation but i may need to splurge to get the real squishee.so in conclusion, 1 star off for not being truly crushable but 4 stars for being $25!

Love this hat! Arrived quickly for a trip to Mexico. Received many compliments on the hat. Wore it everywhere, goes with everything. Squashed it in a suitcase and it popped right back into shap. The hat was a little large as I have a small head but the sizers made it fit perfectly.Thanks,

This hat worked out perfectly. It is a wonderful, sturdy hat. It fit perfectly and stayed put, even in the breezes of Aruba. It also packed very well.It offered great protection for my face and neck from the intense sun.It was the absolute right choice for me!

The ""Tweed Swinger"" is perfect for the hot summer in Hawaii. Wear it to the open market & have gotten great compliments.

Not what I wanted but this Jeanne Simmons Swinger is just great, packable, not to heavy, very well made. Someone always ask ""where did you get your hat?"" Need the one with the convertable brim!!

While planning a trip to the Caribbean, I realized I needed a straw hat. Saw yours online and had to have it. It truly served its purpose. Blocked the sun and looked great!Imagine my surprise when the women of the 'Straw Market' admired my hat when they had some of their own to sell. One of them said, ""that's a really good straw."" I told her it came from China, but I got it over the Internet. It came out of the luggage ready to wear! Love it.

I'm very pleased - I need a wide brim for sun protection, and this one is perfect. It is a slightly heavier weight than some of my summer hats, and the black/khaki mix means it looks dressy enough to wear to work three seasons of the year.

Bought this to take to Florida and it looks like it is indeed very crushable! Very nice hat and very comfortable.

I ordered the hat late in late September, so I knew that it would be unlikely that I would wear it this year. I first saw the hat in early July, in a shop in Cape May, NJ, I loved it then but for some reason that now escapes me, I talked a friend into buying it. Since then I have wanted it in the worse way and when I located it online at Village Hat Shop, I was ecstatic. I am looking forward to next Spring and Summer. By the way I already have three other packable Jeanne Simmons hats and I love them all. Thanks so much!!
