Six sewn eyelets on each panel help with ventilation and the terrycloth sweatband helps to wick perspiration. The long bill/visor measures at 3 3/4" long, to protect the nose and face from the sun. The dark contrast color of the undervisor helps to deflect light away from the eyes. The moon shaped neck flap measures at 5 1/4", adequate coverage for the ears and neck.
