I purchased the Mountain Sky for my son for Christmas. He was delighted with it. I was concerned about the size, but it fits perfectly. He has been wearing it since Christmas and it handles the wet weather as well as promised. I highly recommend it.

Love this hat. It has the quality of every Stetson made hat and the benefit of being crushable so it's become an every day hat for me. I can strap it on the bike and cover the 'helmet head' once I arrive. Can't do that with my standard Stetson cowboy hats. Would definitely get another one of these if it was available in black.

I was looking for something with a bit stiffer brim than the Tilley hats I have and a longer brim than the beat up old wool hat I have. This one is just right - enough brim to block the sun and it doesn't fold up in a breeze. I have a big head and the XXL fits well and is comfortable. I've worn it quite a bit. I really like the hat and it's a USA made Stetson.

I recently bought an Orvis Explorer hat from another vendor, and when I opened the box it instantly became my second favorite hat (my Greek Fisherman's cap will always be first.) The very next day, my Mountain Sky Stetson arrived to bump the Orvis from its spot. I hate to say it, but it's better looking than the Greek, although it hasn't had the chance to develop as many memories. Service from VHS was, once again, excellent.

Nice Hat

Nice hat, fits as expected round my head but the height of the crown is less than I anticipated therefore it sits pressing the top of my head (maybe I have a long head?).
Also, even though I appreciated free shipping it arrived via USPS, and our post office Rural carrier is both lazy and stupid - it was 10 days in transit and tossed on my porch steps in the rain. I'll pay extra for UPS or FedEx next time.

well made as you would expect from stetson. It fit a little loose , but loose is better than tight. I put 3/4 " weather stripping 4 " long on both sides under the sweat band and it fits a like a glove.
