Biltmore Hats
Over its long and complicated history one factor has remained constant - Biltmore's unwavering commitment to quality craftsmanship and undisputed legacy of iconic style. Starting out as the Fried Hat Company in Niagara Falls, the company was later moved to Toronto then Guelph, Canada before first switching ownership in 1920. The company name was changed to Biltmore Hats in homage to the luxury New York City hotel whose elegance the milliner wished to emulate. Following an initial period of investment and expansion, Biltmore Hats soon experienced steady growth and success. Despite the challenges of the Great Depression and World War II, Biltmore Hats grew to become one of the most sought-after names in the hat business - renown for their handcrafted quality, elegance, and style.
Since then, Biltmore Hats has survived the ups and downs of the market and the fashion industry. In 2011, the legendary Canadian hat maker was purchased and their facilities moved to Texas, USA after nearly 100 years in Guelph. Today, Biltmore Hats continues their steadfast commitment to quality craftsmanship and style with an eye to the future.
