Our Guarantee

You must be completely satisfied with your order. If not, we will gladly refund your money or replace any item ordered by Internet, mail or phone within 30 days of delivery.

Personalized items are not returnable.

For the Christmas season, our exchange/return deadline will be extended until the end of January. Have a happy holiday season.

Returns & Exchanges

If you are unhappy with your VillageHatShop.com order, we are happy to accept a return or exchange of a new, unworn, and unaltered hat within 30 days of purchase.

Please Note: Customers are responsible for paying the shipping to return the item to our facility. International customers are responsible for all shipping charges in regards to an exchange or return.

If there is an issue such as a defect or damaged item please contact us at 1-888-VHS-HATS before sending any item back.

As a courtesy to shoppers during Christmas, we extend our return policy during the months of December and January.

Wish List

If you are trying to hint to a loved one about a gift you would like or something you may want to purchase later check out our wish list. Click on the wishlist heart icon on the top right corner of the homepage and create an account. Once you have created an account you can create your wishlist by adding a title and who is able to view it. When you are done with that now it is time to search. When you find an item you like simply click Add to my Wishlist and pick which list you would like to add it to. You can then let people know you have a wishlist with the Village Hat Shop and they can search by your name to see what it is you want.

How to Shop

Shopping is made easy at the Village Hat Shop. First select a shopping option from the top menu (Men's/Unisex Hats, Women's Hats, Shop by Style, or Shop by Brand), then select the category or brand name of the hats you wish to browse. To request a larger image or more information on the product you can click on the image or product name.

SHOPPING ONLINE:

  • To add an item: from a product page, select the options and click the Add to Cart button.
  • Review and Edit Selections: You may review and edit your cart by clicking on the shopping bag icon at the top right of the page.
  • To resume shopping: Simply click the Continue Shopping link.
  • To change the quantity: Once a product is added to the cart simply update the "Quantity" field in the cart by clicking on the "+" or "-" icons.
  • To remove an item: Click the trash can icon or edit the quantity to 0.

To checkout:

  • Click on the Check Out button or select the appropriate alternative checkout method (Shop Pay, PayPal, or G Pay). If selecting an alternative method, follow the given instructions, otherwise continue below for the standard checkout process.
  • Enter your discount count or gift card code (if applicable) in the appropriate field to the right to update your order total.
  • Enter your order contact information of choice (phone or e-mail). If entering e-mail: leave the "Email me with news and offers" box checked if you wish to receive those e-mails, uncheck if you do not.
  • Enter you Delivery/Shipping address.
  • Select your desired Shipping Method.
  • Enter your credit card information. If your billing address is different than your shipping address, uncheck the "Use shipping address as billing address" box and enter your billing address.
  • Check the "Remember Me" box if you wish to save your payment information for other future purchases. Uncheck if you do not wish to do so.
  • Click the Pay Now button.

Order Confirmation

After you have submitted your order, you will be given your Order Confirmation. Print your order confirmation and save it for your records.

A copy of your order confirmation message will also be sent to you via phone or e-mail (depending on your selected method of contact). We will personally send you a message to let you know the status of your order, and when you can expect shipment.

Ordering by Fax

You may order by fax 24 hours a day. Fill out the order form on the shopping cart and print your order for your records, and fax the order to 1-619-683-5535. Be careful not to click Submit Order. You may also write your name, email address, phone number, address, and credit card information on a piece of paper, with the hats that you wish to purchase, and fax it to us. Be certain to include your credit card number, expiration date, and signature.

Ordering by Mail

Customers who wish to order by check or money order may do so by mailing a print out of our order form from the website. You may also write your name, phone number, address, items you wish to purchase, (please include shipping) on a piece of paper and your personal check (ALLOW 12 BUSINESS DAYS FOR A PERSONAL CHECK TO CLEAR BEFORE WE SHIP YOUR ORDER) or money order and mail to:

International Orders

International shipping is currently available WORLDWIDE from Village Hat Shop. We offer PayPal as a secure payment option for most of our International Customers.

Special Orders

If you do not see the item, size, or color you have been searching for, please e-mail or call us. We may have it in stock, or we will try to get it for you.

Special order items and personalized items are not returnable.

Freight-Forwarding Orders

We ONLY accept PayPal payment for any shipment going to a Freight Forwarding company. We will NOT accept any other form of payment. We thank you for your understanding.

Quantity Orders

All large quantity orders that are returned are subject to a 30% restocking fee.

Wholesale/B2B purchases are final sales and not refundable. If a request is made for a pre-pack to be broken up and we are able to do so there is a $1 surcharge per piece on the B2B pack.

Special orders and embroidered apparel are final sales and are not refundable.

Order Processing Time

Every effort is made to ship your hat within 48 hours of receipt Monday thru Friday, pending availability (we generally ship even faster). You'll be notified if merchandise is currently unavailable and when we expect to be able to ship.

We have numerous facilities that we fulfill orders from. Multiple-hat orders may ship from multiple locations for Domestic orders only. See below for International Orders.

International Orders:

International (Non-US) Orders Shipping Timeframe is (7-40 business days)

There may be up to a one-week delay in the shipping of multiple-hat orders internationally. Because of the high cost of shipping internationally, unlike domestic orders, it will be necessary for us to first accumulate all the products in one facility before shipping the goods. If time is of the essence, you may request that we ship hats separately, but the customer will then be responsible for an additional shipping cost.

Taxes and duty

Please understand that we do not know the laws in every country regarding taxes and duty for each and every kind of hat material that we sell. It is the responsibility of the customer to pay such duty and taxes (if applicable). You may want to research this before placing an order. 

Jaxon Hats are not available for sale to Europe.

Domestic Shipping Policy

Please note that items ordered together may ship separately from different locations. You must include a complete street address in order to use Expedited Services (3 Day, 2 Day, or Next Day Service - Expedited Services are not available for PO Boxes). PO Box and APO/FPO addresses will be sent via USPS Priority Mail when possible.

  • USA 3 Day (3 Business Days)
  • USA Priority Ground (2-7 Business Days) (USPS or Fedex)
  • USA GROUND Standard (4-14 Business Day) (Smartpost/UPS Innovations)

Alaska / Hawaii (Expedited Shipping)

  • FedEx does not provide Three-Day Service to Hawaii and Alaska. If you'd like to use expedited shipping to these locations, please select USA 2 Day Service.

APO/FPO (Overseas Military Mail) Orders

  • USPS Priority Mail

PO Boxes

  • USPS Priority Mail
  • Expedited Services are not available for PO Boxes

Note: Keep in mind that these are ESTIMATED shipping times. Domestic (US) Residential Delivery time may take upwards of 4-14 Business days (excluding Saturday and Sunday). US commercial deliveries are made Monday through Friday.

If time is a factor, please select an expedited shipping option in order to receive your hats sooner.

International Shipping Policy

International (Non-US) Orders (7-40 business days).

The cost of shipping hats around the world is ever increasing. We are committed to investigating new options and/or negotiating rates in order to give our customers the best price. At this point, little more can be done to lower rates (but we will keep trying). We know that the following sounds self-serving, but it is nonetheless true and may help: For shipments outside of the USA, we suggest that you consider buying more than a single hat. In doing so, you are assured to lower the shipping cost per hat.

Note: If you order more than one item and we are backordered on part of your order, we cannot afford to make multiple shipments for one shipping charge. You will have the option of waiting until we can ship your complete order or being assessed an international shipping charge for each part of your order that you wish shipped. We will ship within 48 hours (excluding Saturday and Sunday) of receipt of your order and picture identification.

Most banks outside of the USA will not guarantee the transaction for USA merchants. We ask that you pay via PayPal if you are a first time international customer.

We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) technology, which provides the highest level of security currently available for secure transactions, to encrypt all of your Personal Information before it is transmitted to us. Encrypted information cannot be read or recorded as it travels over the Internet. You can tell you are sending information securely by the unbroken key icon or closed lock icon that should appear at the bottom of your internet browser's window (depending on what browser you use). These icons will appear when you are placing an order on our website. In addition, you will see our site address change slightly, from http: to https: indicating a secure server connection is being used.

Additionally, access to your Personal Information is provided only to our employees and agents who have a need to know such information for the purpose of fulfilling your order and offering our high level of customer service. The computers that store your Personal Information are located in a separate facility which employs the latest in firewall and security technology.
