Collection: Bolero & Gaucho Hats

Bolero & Gaucho Hats

Bolero Hats are also known as Spanish cordobés hats, named after the town of Córdoba, Spain from which they hail. This style features an oblong or round crown with a flat top and straight sides (i.e., "square crown"), and a wide flat brim. Gaucho Hats are named after the gauchos (cowboys) of Argentina and Uruguay who popularized them. Gaucho Hats derive from Spanish Bolero Hats and similarly feature a square crown and wide flat brim but often (though not always) include an adjustable chin strap/cord for added function. These two style names are usually used interchangeably, so if you're a fan of one, you're sure to love the other!
