Village Hat Shop is proud to introduce our exclusive line of cut-and-sewn flat caps from City Sport, founded in 1898 by Victor Declercq. Four generations later, City Sport remains a family run enterprise and is still produced in the small town of Ardooie, Belgium (population 7,000). Unlike most other hatters operating today, City Sport retains a fierce hold on old traditions—emphasizing craftsmanship and quality materials such as the finest Harris tweeds, Donegal’s, Italian woolens, and other fine European piece-goods. A City Sport cap is truly a hat lover’s cap.
