Wool Fashion Beret

I ordered this olive-green wool beret by mistake thinking it was a cotton one, which I wanted for the coming warmer weather. I will keep it, though, for next winter as it is a good price, nicely made and big enough for my 23" in. head without being tight. I do wish the ladies' cotton berets came in this pretty green color.

My wife has been a beret wearer for years. Her last one was near to tatters. Time to break in a new “favorite.” A great buy.

It's a nice beret, reasonably priced, but too small. No options for larger heads like mine. Probably won't wear it.

It’s a very cute beret and so inexpensive. I like the shape and the thicker material. Fits nicely over one ear or when it gets too cold outside can also be worn over both ears. Plan to keep mine for a very long time.

My family and I are huge fans of Prince so naturally I had to get my sister a raspberry beret for Christmas since that is her favorite song and it suits her so well. Purchased 3 of these wool berets and they are very nicely made and warm. I guess my head is not very large, since only one is what I would call well-fitting. The other 2 are large. The 'openings' are all very different, so I will tweak the position of the larger ones to work for me. Wish they were all small!

I was so very pleased with the quality, color, and fit of this hat. I ordered in two other colors!

The color, size and texture were perfect.

A little stiff, which I expect will soften up over time. I also wish it didn't have a label sewn into the band. I'm going to have to pick it out stitch by stitch.

Great quality and fit, but the shades are too dark. Ordered the navy and dark green, and they look almost black, esp. the navy. Photos on site do not show true shades.

It's a very nice, classic beret, but unfortunately the color isn't for me; it doesn't go with my dark purple parka or other winter clothes.

They are wonderful! Fit so you can move them around for different looks, are roomy enough to pull down over your ears, (during this awful winter) yet are delightfully colored; not the usually offered black or navy. Nicely felted too. Get 'em while you can!

I have a large head, so a 10 in is too small. This is perfect. The drape can go urban to country, on the side or to the back, I love this hat. I'll buy more in other colors.

the beret does the job of keeping my head warm, but compared to another one I've had for many years, it lacks in the softness dept.

This beret is positively beautiful. I wrote to VillageHat before deciding to purchase it because I wanted to be sure it is a true red color (could not tell from the picture that was up when I purchased). It is definitely a very beautiful true red color. I wore it with an all black outfit, and a black and white shawl. Lots of compliments. Plus, it made me feel fancy. Like I should just go gallivant about some metro area or sit at a sidewalk cafe sipping macchiatos instead of being at work. Still, put me in a great mood and I felt swanky all day rocking the red beret.
