Tweed Wool Blend Ivy Cap

Been buying this same cap (which I’m known by) for 25 years.
Looks great, goes with everything & endless style. Many thanks to Mike & Anita who’ve help me with this cap for many years. Love it !

Happy to continue to get this style & shade. I have several styles of Jaxon caps, but I’m known by this particular “look”. Please resist the temptation to lower the quality. There are reasons for return customers...a “little extra quality & little extra care”. Great service ! thanks, faithful don.

This is my second IVY cap and my fifth cap from The Village Hat Shop. I have found I like the Jackson Hats of every style. I also have Straw and Felt Fedoras. Great company and I like the Jackson caps because they fit so well.

He loves this hat. I bought as a gift and ordered a medium not knowing if this would be too big. The medium fits him well.
The fabric weight is perfect for our cool (but not frigid) weather here in North Florida.
Color is neutral enough to go with just about any color he wears.

Needed a change in my outerwear wardrobe and decide to give Village Hat Shop my business for quality hats. First, I was surprised how quickly I received my purchases, expecting a delivery of, at least, couple of weeks. Second, I was completely satisfied by the quality and construction of the cap. This hat is a bit thinner than I expected. It is a summer/fall hat. However, I like it very much. The fit, look, price and quality are great. I plan to buy Jaxon hats again.

The hat arrived very wrinkled, no padding in envelope. I like the hat but trying to get out creases has been a challenge. Would buy there again because of selection and XXL sizes.

Wonderful cap. My measurement was right on the border between medium and large. The medium fits perfectly.

A really nice hat. I recently bought an MX 5 convertible and wanted something a little more
traditional than a baseball cap when I have the top down.
The material is light enough to wear when the weather is not really hot.

The size and color worked well. The material is a little thinner than I thought but otherwise great hat.

Nice hat for the price. The material is not thick, the hat is lined. It is more of a fall hat, or for temperatures in the 40's and 50's. It fits well, looks good. I would say probably maybe a quarter inch or so of too much material so that it overhangs a bit on the sides. It is not a firm ascot type hat, but a soft hat, although the front brim is sturdy. Overall, I am pleased for the price. I would rate this a 4.5 or so, but will use a 5 in these ratings.

My guy never has owned this style cap, and I never made a purchase from The Village Hat Shop. Both were a complete success! Plus the cap was well made, and stylish! We're now waiting for the cashmere blend to come back into stock! Thanks!

For $22 this is quite an Ivy Cap. It's 40% wool , but feels more like 80%. The Satin lining and head band are full and complete. It does not have a fancy label inside and it is made in China. However, It's simply a very good had for a very reasonable price.

Better quality than expected. Very satisfied buyer. Will buy again.

I'm a formal dresser not only because my firm demands business attire but also because formality is my predisposition. The problem with gentlemen's caps these days is that you run the risk of looking like a hipster if you wear them. Therefore, I am always looking for a hat that accents the formality of my attire rather than making me seem like a guy in a suit who is trying to maintain an indie edge. I am the farthest thing from a hipster that exists: I am a Republican. This flat cap, although competitively priced, provides precisely the formal, non-pretentious accent that I am seeking. It makes me look like a well dressed gentleman, not an eccentric. It in no way makes me look as though I don't belong in my professional setting, which is dominated by very studiously and conservatively dressed older gentlemen. I wear it almost daily.

This is an excellent hat for warm weather. Just snug enough to stay in place however I wear it. High on the back of my head or pulled down forward to block the sun. Feels secure tilted to the side.

Well, if continual wear is any indication, my husband likes this hat a lot. He does take it off to shower and sleep but otherwise, it's pretty well on his head.

This is my second hat purchase that I was forced to make since my first purchase was a little too big and I couldn't return/exchange it because I wore it for a few hours.

The design is nice and the fit works out well enough for my bald head. It does have a tendency to rotate slowly throughout the day as I turn my head, but that's probably normal. In all, I like the hat so far and plan on getting more in the future.

I Received this hat in The Ivy League - Flat Cap Assortment order. I like it very much had good compliments about this hat. it is good to ware in cooler to cold weather.

I have the same cap in the Houndstooth pattern and love it! This Tweed one is slightly thicker and a little warmer. I purchased it because I wanted to give my Houndstooth cap a rest; I wear both constantly and always get compliments!

The hat is everything I expected. But the shipping was very slow.

I ordered this hat for Christmas for my husband. He has a pretty large head and most hats don't fit. I used the guide for measuring his head and it fits great. It looks so nice I will order another one!

Sad to say, the quality of this hat was not as good as the first hat I purchased from you. I loved the quality of the first hat. I think before returning home I will be buying a Panama hat since I live in Panama.

This cap matches easily in terms of color, as it contains both brown and blue elements. I am usually in between large and extra large size-wise, and the large is a slightly firm but near perfect fit. The crown of the hat is a single thin layer. This hat worked perfectly as top down convertible car wear. If you only require a lightweight hat for fall or winter, this will work. Personally, my bald spot and I will opt for a heavier, or double layered design for winter. The hat is priced correctly for what it delivers.

This cap is very well made and it's light. I live in South Florida and have worn it during hot days. It goes with many outfit combinations. Wish it was available in other colors.

I got this hat in an attempt to increase the diversity of my growing hat collection. I have a Jaxon trapper hat of the same pattern so it matches perfectly with my current wardrobe and it's more suited for warmer weather. Great hat! I've gotten compliments already, though it's a little big on me which is my fault, they were out of my size but I had to have it.

Great hat. Especially great for the money. It's described as brown/gray and it does have both colors but it is primarily brown. Size and fit are right. Gives a sense of real quality.
