Great hat for the price

Captain's hats from costume suppliers appeared to be very poorly made while hats from uniform suppliers were too expensive for the intended purpose. This hat isn't heavy-duty but is well made, especially for the price.

For well over 20 years I bought Broner brand yachting caps, but when they changed suppliers, the color of the braid and scrambled eggs on the bill didn’t match. (Yes, I am very picky.) I discovered the Village Hat Shop yachting caps and immediately ordered two. Excellent product. Highly recommended. Best yet, the cap makes me look like I could actually BE a captain.

Captains Hat is exactly what I wanted and was much better quality than I expected! The only drawback to the whole experience was with the U.S. Postal Service as my package was left sitting in Memphis for 5 days saying out for delivery then received by Distribution Center each day then when it finally arrived box was crumpled beyond recognition thankfully my hat was soft and pliable and was not damaged!

I could not be more pleased with this yachting cap. It's great quality, especially for the price. Don't bother with the costume-quality ones available through Amazon. If you're looking for a handsome yachting cap, look no further. Only warning is to note that the adjustable size only goes up to 7 3/8", so that's a bummer for those who wear larger hat sizes.
