And the bonus is not just the iconic look. This is an immaculately crafted piece of leather headwear. I expect it will have long since been lost or stolen before its appeal fades. Plus its good at keeping your head warm.

The hat is well made and the leather is of soft yet sturdy quality.
Any softer it would loose it’s shape worn; any stiffer and it wouldn’t form well when worn. There’s many things we take for granted, but especially with leather, it’s not as simple. The sizing runs spot on, if not a little on the small side (which is exactly what you want, and leather will stretch. Running large there’s no getting around that.

Hat is good quality leather and made well. The brim is very thick though, between layer of leather for top, the leather hat band, two layers of leather for the actual brim, makes about 3/8 inch thick. When you put the hat on, if your ears lie close to your head and do not naturally stick out, they do with this Beanie. If you have longer hair, it covers, but if you wear your hair short, everyone will see your ears sticking out while wearing this

The hat fit perfectly and looks like it will provide years of service. I wish it could have been slightly shallower as I prefer it to not touch the tops of my ears but with a little adjustment I solved the problem and the diameter is perfect.

Great hat, well made. I wear a 7-3/8 the top of the large size. It was pretty tight, I had to use my hat stretcher just a tad, fits like a glove now.
