Just what I was looking For

Let me start by saying I have a large head (7 3/8 or size 24 in older women's hat sizing). I was very pleased with the fit of this hat. It runs true to size so it won't be loose or snug. The brim turns up or down easily so it can be worn up in the Breton style or turned down for more face shading from the sun. And the color is a true white with no off white or cream tones. I really like this hat and will buy it in the other colors offered.

Wanted a replacement for a well worn, more expensive hat and found this one at a much better price point. It even has an adjustable, interior hat band that makes it so comfortable. The Village Hat Shop delivered it to me in a few days, too. Great experience!

I love my Toyo Straw Hat! Ordered a couple other from other retailers that said they were toyo straw but when I got them they were paper straw. Toyo Straw is shellacked rice paper and its soft, smooth to feel and fits great on almost any head. I love my hat

Was looking for a straw hat that wasn't too floppy or super stiff. It holds a nice in-between. You can adjust the brim more inward or outward depending on the style you like. Holds shape well, isn't extremely flimsily or heavy either! All in all, for the price and quality, I'm very pleased. Great for the beach or just a walk through a flower field.

This hat is really cute! It can be worn in so many different ways...the brim is pliable but still holds shape in any way you wish to wear it. I got the toast color. Love this hat - very happy with my purchase, and would highly recommend it to others.

I don't generally wear hats, but this one looked so cute on the model and the price was very reasonable, I thought I'd try it. I am a small person, so it fits me more like a sombrero but it is very comfortable, does provide good coverage from the sun and would probably cost me more to send back than it cost...so I decided to keep it and wear it in my back yard.

Flattering sunhat

I bought the Traveler Sun Hat for an upcoming vacation to Victoria BC. The hat is most flattering which is everything. Many years ago I bought a hat at the Village Hat Store in San Diego. I have never seen so many choices. I Googled 'sunhats' and found the Traveler, not noticing who the merchant was. I was pleasantly surprised when I realized it was the same store that I loved.
