It is a waterproof cream that is very simple to apply to Oilskin hats, and directions are right on the bottom of the container. Manufacturer Instructions for Use: * Best Results are obtained when the garment is clean, dry, and warm. * Apply a light coat with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth or brush. * Use sparingly and rub well. * If practical, place article in a warm area overnight. * Absorption can be hastened with warm air from a hair dryer or similar source. * Wipe off excess.
