Fedora Hats at Village Hat Shop
First introduced to the world as a soft felt hat with a creased crown as worn by famed actress Sarah Bernhardt in Victorien Sardou’s 1882 play, Fédora, the eponymous hat style is one of the world’s most recognizable today. Originally seized as a symbol of the burgeoning Women’s Movement, Fedora Hats quickly gained popularity with men, eventually being appropriated as a men's dress style by the early 20th century. Fedoras have navigated a myriad of associations across their long history – from bootleggers and gangster during prohibition, to Hollywood (think Bogart, Borsalino, Indiana Jones, etc.), to Blues and Jazz musicians, and most recently, hipsters – as such, Fedoras are perhaps THE most influential and iconic of all hat styles.
At Village Hat Shop, we carry hundreds of unique Fedora Hat styles from major brands like Stetson, Bailey, Borsalino, Brixton Hats, Kangol, and many more. Shop by Category, Style, or Material and find your next Fedora Hat today!
