Sherlock Holmes Herringbone Wool Blend Hat

I finally found the deerstalker hat I had been looking for. A bit of problem with the sizing but Village Hats helped me solve it quickly and at no extra cost. I love the Sherlock looks!

I ordered this hat to be part of a Sherlock costume. Instead what I got was a meticulously perfect hat fit for long-term use. I will be ordering from Village Hat Shop again.

Bought this on a whim, but I must say I really love this hat. Fit is perfect! I wear a Large (59) and it fits like it was customs made just for me. The hat is super comfortable and well constructed. I give this one 5-stars and recommend you buy with confidence.

This is a well made hat that looks fantastic. This is NOT a cheap knock off or low-quality hat. The materials are top notch and the quality of construction is excellent. I do recommend a size smaller than you measure your head to be.

Excellent herringbone deerstalker cap. Very closely resembles those worn by Basil Rathbone in the 30's and 40's Sherlock Holmes films. I have an antique hall tree near the front door and hang this hat along with a riding crop (Holmes' favorite weapon in the novels).

The hat is OK, but despite the "guaranteed" before Christmas claim, it was delivered a couple of days late; -Caveat Emptor.

This Jaxon Deerstalker hat fits my head perfectly. I have a medium-sized noggin and went for the Large--glad I did. The hat is very high quality, stylish, and warm. In fact, the only "complaint" (if you will) is that it was made in China and not in the US or UK. Regardless, the hat is gorgeous and very well manufactured.

This hat is great. In putting together a Sherlock costume I didn't want a cheap costume hat, and this is definitely not that!

I am the biggest Sherlock fan ever. I already have a similar coat to his. I can't even describe how much I wanted this hat. I was originally able to get it on my birthday, but they didn't have my size! So I waited and waited for them to restock my size, when I found out it was out of stock completely. You could imagine my disappointment. But, like, 5 months later I received an email saying it was back in stock. So I ordered it right away, and I can't get enough of it. I live in Minnesota so it's perfect for the winter! It is amazing quality, and my mom actually loves it too (to my extreme surprise) because it's the type of hat that looks sophisticated and classy and even pretty if you need it to be. This was a brilliant birthday gift from my two best mates who wanted to get me a hat which looked just like the one in BBC Sherlock. Not only does it but it is amazingly comfortable. Beats the cold weather. It's an ear hat John! A death frisbee. I love it!

I love this hat so much. I am a huge BBC Sherlock fan thus mention to the title. I haven't worn it around yet much because it's the summer but I can imagine myself wearing it with long coats in the winter. If your face is round this hat will make it look very round. But I put my hair to the side to make my face look longer. It also came within 2 days!! Unbelievably fast and I got to track my package too. Will be ordering again, actually now!

Because I portray William Gillette at Gillette Castle (he brought Holmes to life on the stage) I wear a Sherlock Holmes type of outfit. I need a real deerstalker cap (not a Halloween type). This one is perfect. Well made and fits well.

I originally ordered an xtra large and it was way to big..I returned it an got the large..maybe it is the way the hat is shaped but it is still a bit larger then I feel comfortable with.....nice product.

I purchased this hat to replace an older worn Deerstalker. I have been very pleased with it. The workmanship is excellent and the material is high quality at a reasonable price.

Ordered the Large but was contacted shortly (like within the hour) stating they only had a XL. They set me up with an XL version and some hat sizers and upgraded shipping at no cost for the inventory mishap. Hat looked great and the service was amazing!

Ordered the Sherlock hat through the website, unfortunately they sent an email back stating that the L I ordered was out of stock. Decided to call and see if they could check, a wonderful lady answered and told me she would check the warehouse to see if they had any left in size L that have been overlooked and call me back. She called back 20 minutes later, having found a hat in L and I had it a few days later. Wonderful customer service, can't say enough good things about it! You've earned a customer for life. Also the hat is wonderful, just as described and fits perfectly - the bf loved it.

Sorry, couldn't resist the title. I purchased this hat for myself and upon arrival a friend of mine saw it and went crazy over it. So, I gave it to him, then turned around and ordered another -- for myself. Really nice hat, especially for the price point. I own several others which were more expensive and this one fits in with them in quality, comfort, looks, etc. I am most pleased. Just got it today and absolutely loving it!

We received the hat in a very timely manner and we were thrilled with it. It was exactly what we were looking for and my grand daughter who had wanted it, was excited about receiving the hat for her birthday.

Arrived in plenty of time for my Sherlock Holmes convention. Wore it all weekend. Met Benedict Cumberbatch...was originally going to get him to sign it but the silver pen wasn't showing up good enough. Another convention has just been announced so I can see myself wearing it to that as well.

I am a big fan of Sherlock Holmes and the BBC's version of Sherlock. I always wanted a hat like his. This is a nice cap/hat. I say cap, because in England -- it is a cap. In Ireland -- it is a hat. Your choice, re: how to describe it. Now, to the topic, at hand. I have to admit that I bought it because I need it for a costume, but it's a wonderfully made hat. You can really feel the quality and it sits nicely.

Was looking for a deerstalker of quality to go with my grey wool Inverness cloak/cape, not a cheapo Halloween costume type of hat. This is a very well-made hat and arrived sooner than expected. Beautiful fabric and fit. Had a couple of questions prior to purchase and the gentleman I spoke with on the phone was pleasant and helpful.
