Rather than the single straw weave that is standard in panama hats, the Folding Panama Straw Fedora Hat is made from two strands of straw rolled together and then woven in order to withstand repeated folding and better retain its shape.

How to Properly Fold Your Panama:

1. Fold crown along the center.
2. Fold the brim's sides up toward the crown to make a "taco," see photo included in hat images.
3. Steam can help you return your hat to its original shape. Tip: Place hat in the bathroom while you shower for easy steaming; smooth back to shape with your fingers.

Please Note:

*Just like folding a shirt or any other article of clothing creates creases, so will folding your hat. Steaming can help smooth the creases out, but will not fully remove the creases.*

*Folding your panama hat will shorten the lifespan of your hat.*
