Bickmore's Kahl Hat Stiffener is a special blend of stiffening agents formulated specifically to add the original body and stiffness back to felt hats. Proudly manufactured in the USA, Bickmore's Kahl Hat Stiffener outperforms all other hat stiffeners both in terms of its stiffening ability and gentleness to the tone and texture of the felt.  Kahl Hat Stiffener will not affect the tone, texture or color of the hat. It will not turn yellow or flake off. Kahls Hat Stiffener will not affect future hat cleanings, shaping, or reblocking if used properly.

Manufacturer Instructions for Use:

1. Always check for color-fastness in a hidden area before using.
2. Shake well. 
3. Cover work area with a cloth. 
4. Brush hat to clean surface. 
5. Spray fine mist over entire area, holding bottle 8-10 inches away from the hat.
6. Allow to dry. 
7. Use steam and reshape hat to desired style. Warning: If you do not steam this product into the hat it will sit on top of the fibers and leave a residue that will chip and flake. Steaming is a priority. Do not saturate, instead follow the procedure a few times.
8. Repeat above procedure if more body is desired.
