The wool is soft and warm and sizing is spot on. A red hat helps an old guy with lots of white hair and a long beard look a little bit stylish and hip. Looks even better when worn backwards.

This is my 3rd flat Cap, and first Kangol. My first 2 are Jaxon, size large so that is the size, I ordered on the 504. Based on the size chart that should be correct but it was too big. However, returns are no problem so I sent it back, and received a medium today. Happy to say it fits great! Love to Lodengreen color. Thanks Village Hat Shop!

Bought the Kangol as a replace to one lost. Though it was priced higher than expected, it's a quality product. But, it took much too long to arrive and the tracking service used is hard to understand where the package is in the shipping process. It took a phone call to find out.

I had been wanting one for a long time and was searching, they had a lot of color choices and the sizing chart helped, picked one up for me and one for my dad. He said it was his favorite hat. This is the second hat that I have ordered from Village Hat Shop and it has been a great experience. Even thought the first hat I ordered before Christmas didn't fit the recipient, my husband liked it so much that he kept that one and we ordered the correct size for our friend. Two happy customers instead of one. The hats are well made and the tobacco color is very handsome. I imagine they will get many years of enjoyment from them.

I own almost every color of 504 and love them because of their fit, style, and warmth. In New England our winters can get quite bitter and these do a great job of keeping the melon protected. I would also recommend the version with ear flaps for windy days. The flaps fit snuggly to the ears and don't look weird like most ear flaps on other hats.

Wrong color

The hat is fine. However it is not the color I ordered. I ordered dark blue and got black. The little swab of dark blue showing the correct color which is attached to the hat does not match the black color of the hat.
